The content of verse 141 of Surah Nisa is the basis of the “Negation of Domination” (Nafy-e- Sabil) Rule. The jurists considered this verse, which is in the form of a report, to be an order and based on it, they ruled that whatever causes the unbelievers to dominate the believers is prohibited. Regardless of this rule, the concept that Muslims should not act in such a way that disbelievers dominate them and distort their dignity is accepted by Muslim intellectuals, but this rule faces challenges both in terms of inference and implementation. The difference in the revelation of this verse, the difference in the concept of " Nafy-e- Sabil " and its scope are two important theoretical challenges related to this rule.
