Guide for Authors

General conditions of the article

  • The article must be original, the consequence of the author's research, and innovative; Therefore, translation of published articles is not accepted.
  • Only an article that has not been published before and has not been simultaneously sent to other journals for reviewing and judging will be placed in the review process.
  • After submission, the content of the article is checked by the journal's staff and a decision is made according to the degree of its similarity; articles that are more than 10% similar to other articles will not be accepted.
  • The final acceptance of the article for publication, if it is approved by the reviewers and scientific advisors, depends on the approval of the editorial board. When the acceptance certificate is issued, the copyright of the article is reserved for the publication.
  • Authors are responsible for the contents of the article. Before submitting, the authors must complete, sign, and submit "The Conflict of Interest Form and Commitment Letter" available on the Journal's website.
  • The right to edit, summarize and print the article is reserved for the Journal, and the received articles will not be returned.
  • The opinions expressed in the articles do not reflect the point of view of Biannual Journal of "Comparative Studies on the Schools of Jurisprudence and its Principles"
  • After submitting the article, "the responsible author" will be contacted only via the website of the Journal for affairs such as notification of receipt, the status of the article in the workflow process and all subsequent correspondence. Please avoid unnecessary contact and track the status of your article only through the Journal's system.
  • Refrain from sending more than one article at the same time to Biannual Journal of "Comparative Studies on the Schools of Jurisprudence and its Principles". The Journal's office will not review the authors' article or other articles until the status of the first article is finalized.
  • The article acceptance process and the article workflow guide can be seen in the "Article Acceptance Process" section.
  • Refrain from sending articles that are not related to the specialized field of the Journal.
  • The Journal is free in literary and technical editing of the article, without major changes in its content.
  • The full name of the author(s), academic rank, department, faculty, university/place of teaching or studying, e-mail address, phone number of the author(s) should be attached on a separate page.
  • To submit the article only use the page of Biannual Journal of "Comparative Studies on the Schools of Jurisprudence and its Principles" in Kurdistan University Journals Website at https://mfu.uok.ac.ir/ (you must first register there).
  • The author(s) of the article must cite at least one article that was published in previous issues of the Journal.
  • When submitting the article, it is mandatory to complete and submit the Commitment Letter and Conflict of Interest Form (available at Guide for Authors) with the seal or signature of the author(s) of the article.

 

How to set up article's chapters

  • The title of the article must clearly express the content of the article. It must be non-repetitive, without ambiguity and conceptual inadequacy.
  • Microsoft office word (2010) software should be used.
  • Enter the full details of all the authors (necessary for the initial acceptance of the article), including: name and surname, academic rank, major of study or scientific department, faculty, university where the authors teach or study (in both Farsi and English languages).
  • The article should include the title (short and concise), Persian and English abstract (250 to 300 words), Persian and English keywords (3 to 7 words), problem statement, argumentative and analytical explanation of the subject, conclusion (and recommendations) and references (bibliography). The number of words in the article should not exceed 8500 words.

Citations and references

The method of citation must be "in-text" as follows:

  • Books: (author's surname, year of publication: volume/page). For example: (Najafi, 1412 AH, 3/57).
  • Articles: (author's surname, year of publication: page). For example: (Ahmadi, 2011, 35).
  • English terms should be given in the footnote.
  • The list of sources must be alphabetically arranged at the end of the article according to the last name of the author and without separating the Arabic and Persian sources, as follows.
  • Books: author's surname, name (or famous name for deceased scholars) (year of publication), book name (italics), translator's name, publication edition (version), place of publication: publisher's name.

For example: Najafi, Mohammad Hassan. (1391 AH). Jawhir al-Kalm f Sharh Shar'i' al-Islam, 3rd ed. Tehran: Dar al-Kutub al-Islamiya.

  • Articles: author's surname, name (year of publication), "title of the article", full name of the publication/journal (italics), issue (version): page.

For example: Nazari Tavakoli, Saeed and Karachian Thani, Fatemeh. (2018). "The scope of wife's rights in marital relations from the perspective of jurisprudence and family law". Fiqh and Islamic Law Studies. 10(19): 359-378.

  • Citing master or doctoral thesis;

For example: Mahdavikani, Mohammad Saeed (1991). The Concept of Song from the Perspective of Islam. (Master's thesis). Imam Sadiq University, Tehran, Iran.

  • The name of the book and the title of the journal must be italicized.
